Good news! During a radio interview with KISS FM, Pete Wentz revealed that Ashlee has a big project coming soon. When will we all hear what it is? “I’m thinking like any day now! I saw lots of contracts and stuff being talked about. I’m exploding because I want to say it but I can’t!”

I can’t wait to find out what she’s working on!

Pete could only tell us one thing: “She dyed her hair black and it’s SO hot!”

You guys don’t know how thrilled I am about that news! Her red hair looked amazing, I really do think so, but her black hair has always been my favourite! Check out all the photoshoots from 2004 where her hair was also black here in the gallery.

Taking a break from their hectic schedules, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were spotted taking their son Bronx Mowgli to Disneyland in Anaheim, California on October 29.

The “Pieces of Me” songstress and her Fall Out Boy beau looked to be having a marvelous time with their 11-month-old as they rode the Dumbo Flying Elephants.

And the happy family image is a welcome one, especially considering the reports that Ashlee has been upset as of late over her “Melrose Place” departure.

An insider revealed, “Ashlee didn’t see it coming, and now she’s crushed. She invested her heart and soul into the job. She feels like the rug has been pulled out from under her. She is struggling to hold her marriage together, dealing with motherhood and practically starving herself to look good. Ashlee’s friends are concerned that she’s headed for an emotional meltdown. She was desperate to establish herself as a serious actress, but now she’s worried that she’s failing.”

Ready for a change, Ashlee Simpson and Fall Out Boy husband Pete Wentz are putting their Beverly Hills luxury mansion up for sale.

The couple’s marriage, which has been rumored to be shaky and on the verge of divorce, are claiming they are making the move for baby Bronx.

The house simply is not baby-safe! “The house is built into the side of a giant hill and it doesn’t really have any yard. Now that Bronx is getting older they realized that really isn’t a child-friendly house. They are going to sell this house and look for something that will be better suited to young children.”

Ashlee bought the mansion, at 5,896 square feet, in January of 2007 for $4.5 million. It has four floors, four bedrooms, four baths, and a master bedroom with his-and-her baths.

It, of course, has all things needed such as a television and game room, gym, a huge kitchen, swimming pool, and a two-story guesthouse.

Fitting in a little quality family time, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz ventured out with Bronx Mowgli in Hollywood on Saturday (October 17).

The loving family were all smiles as they enjoyed the relaxing weekend outing, with Miss Simpson toting her adorable baby boy in her arms as paparazzi snapped up shots.

As for fatherhood, Pete recently told People magazine: “Everything is awesome about being a dad. Eventually we want to be able to have a soccer team.”

But the family expansion is currently on hold, as the Fall Out Boy rocker says that he and Ashlee need to “schedule and time things right … Ashlee is really focused on Melrose Place right now and I’m figuring what I’m doing next year.”

Continuing on about his daddy duties, Wentz tells, “The best part for me now is that I think for the first 9 months mom is so essential. When they start hanging out with dad more you’re like, ‘Wow I feel like a dad.’ You go to music class and do fun stuff together, it’s cool.”

[Ashlee Simpson] surprised pool partiers after posing alongside her sister, then retreating out of sight, only to return seconds later with husband Pete Wentz. Instead of having a girls’ weekend in Las Vegas, the Fall Out Boy rocker took a break from his tour to be with his wife on her birthday.

So much for the couple wanting to take some time off.

Yet Star Magazine suggested on Friday that the couple was definitely on the outs and hinted at a possible off-camera affair on the set of Simpson Wentz’s show.

“Ashlee is giddy over Colin (Egglesfield),” Star said, and “her husband is jealous.” “The two have been fighting worse than ever,” the story claimed.

The story cited a so-called “’Melrose’ set source” as saying, “On a few occasions, she broke down in sobs after angry phone calls.”

Yet Egglesfield seemed to be the furthest thing from Simpson-Wentz’ mind yesterday; her real-life hubby was the only one she was being “overly flirty” with at MGM Grand.

“I’m very happy in the moment I’m in,” she told the Sun. “My whole family’s here … the whole nine yards. It’s good to celebrate this with everyone.”

In addition to her husband and big sister, her 10-month-old son, Bronx Mowgli; mother, Tina Simpson; and notorious father/manager, Joe Simpson, came to Las Vegas yesterday to mark her birthday.

After what proved to be a whirlwind year, the petite brunette said she had a lot to celebrate.

“I had such a great year … it was definitely the best year of my life, “ she said. “I had, you know, a child and got married.”

“I came in today from tour, I’ve been on the road with my husband,” Simpson-Wentz said.

The 25-year-old was only here for the day, but did her best “to relax and enjoy (her) friends and family” during the brief trip.

Unlike many of the celebrities who are in town this weekend, the singer-turned-actress said a trip to the “Biggest Tattoo Show on Earth” at Mandalay Bay was not part of her itinerary.

“I didn’t even know there was a tattoo show … but I think I’m good on tattoos for now,” the already-inked starlet said.

“I’m (just) here for the day,” she noted, explaining, “We’re going to go home tonight so Bronx can be in bed.”

Though she insisted she didn’t want any birthday gifts, she didn’t wait to return home before opening her presents.

“My friends are so thoughtful with their gifts,” she said. “I didn’t ask for anything but my husband, on the first day of this week, I came to meet him on tour and he got me these amazing Channel shoes with pearls on them.”

“They’re amazing and really hard to find and beautiful,” she gushed. “(But) I don’t need a gift, I’m happy.”

“He gave me some other gifts that were between us,” she smiled.

While the birthday girl enjoyed the brief break in Las Vegas, Simpson-Wentz said her family and career have been keeping her pleasantly busy.

“Right now I’m focused on the show and on Bronx, my son, and my husband and my life,” she said. “It’s so exciting and it’s so lovely.”

September 10 – Fashion’s Night Out At Fred Segal

Enjoying a beautiful day together, Ashlee Simpson, Pete Wentz and baby Bronx took a trip to Petco earlier today (September 16) in Hollywood, CA.

The happy family of three looked to be having a marvelous time together as they headed inside the pet store and decided on a new fish before leaving.

For Fashion’s Night Out, New York City had Victoria Beckham, Charlize Theron and Justin Timberlake, while Hollywood got Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz.

Ash and Pete left baby Bronx home for the night when they hit Ron Herman at Fred Segal to hang with fans and score some J Brand jeans.

“They were so cute together and looked really happy,” says an eyewitness.

Despite the crowd and cameras, the couple even engaged in some PDA…

The two were seen stealing kisses in between photo ops with fans.

Pete even played the board game Guess Who with some partygoers.

As for what Ash looks for in a pair of jeans, the new mom said “comfort and style” are key. But no doubt she’ll spend some time suffering for fashion now that her new Melrose Place gig is underway.

Enjoying a fun-filled family outing, Pete Wentz, Ashlee Simpson with their son, Bronx, were spotted out at the park in Beverly Hills on Thursday (September 10).

The happy trio played around in the sandbox and climbed around on the equipment, with all three smiling and laughing throughout their time together.

Recently talking to Redbook about her role as a mother, Ashlee said, “Being a mom’s so empowering and incredible. I’m one of those people who believes that life brings things to you at a certain time for a certain reason, and if you just go with it, that’s where the best moments come from.”

As for her experience with pregnancy, the “Melrose Place” actress tells, “The great thing about being pregnant is that you have nine months and it really does prepare you. Your body is changing, and it’s such an amazing time to feel that connection.”
