Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz: Swingin’ with Bronx
Enjoying a break from her busy Broadway schedule, Ashlee Simpson joined husband Pete Wentz and little Bronx Mowgli for a winter outing in New York City on Wednesday (December 9).
Not letting the cold and windy weather deter the day’s plans, the happy family made their way to a nearby playground in Manhattan for a little time on the swingset to go with a walk around their Big Apple neighborhood.
As previously reported by Gossip Center, Ashlee just recently kicked off her stage duties for “Chicago”, in which she plays the character of heart-stealing jailbird Roxie Hart.
With shows running through February 7th, Miss Simpson wrote to fans on Sunday, “Woo first week of CHICAGO..It’s so warm and fuzzy there! The cast has made me feel at home.. LOVE! Thanks to the peeps comin to the shows!x”

Jessica defends Ashlee: another Perez thing
Jessica Simpson is coming to her family’s defense once again.
The 29-year-old singer — who called Melrose Place “crap” after her younger sister Ashlee was canned — is now going after celeb blogger Perez Hilton, who poked fun at her nephew Bronx.
On Friday — Bronx’s first birthday — Perez wrote: “It’s been one year since Asslee pushed Bronx Mowgli through her vayjayjay and it’s all the family is talking about!”
He then ended his post by calling Bronx a “poor lil’ thing” who “doesn’t stand a chance!!!”
Simpson wasn’t amused. She Twittered later that day: “Does perez hilton..whatever his name really is..have no heart at all?Don’t ever attack my family again.Sad to know u hate so deeply.Sad 4 U”
Her spirits seemed to improve a short time later. “I challenge everyone to save up for a flt [ed note: flight] to somewhere you have always wanted to go. Get inspired beyond boundries [sic],” she wrote. “Find something waiting!”

Little Bronx’ SpongeBob birthday
Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz celebrated son Bronx Mowgli’s first birthday with a SpongeBob-themed celebration at grandparents Joe and Tina Simpson’s house in Encino, Calif.
About 30 family and friends, including aunt Jessica Simpson, arrived around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday for a bounce house, cake, the singing of “Happy Birthday” and a surprise appearance by the cartoon character.
Wentz, 30, told PEOPLE last week that Bronx “likes Bob and he likes guitar – which he calls ‘itar,’ so we’re going to have a SpongeBob party for him.”
The party went well, according to Wentz, who thanked party planner Mindy Weiss and others on his Twitter page Saturday night for the “rad b-day for bronx.”
Bronx’s actual birthday was Friday, and the night before, mom Ashlee and aunt Jessica Tweeted their birthday wishes. Ashlee wrote, “BX’s 1st bday tomorrow! My angel is going to be a year!! The greatest year of my life 
”
Jessica added, “Happy Birthday to my precious angel on earth!!! Bronx is 1 today!! I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!! I can’t believe it has been a year already.”

Taking a break from their hectic schedules, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were spotted taking their son Bronx Mowgli to Disneyland in Anaheim, California on October 29.
The “Pieces of Me” songstress and her Fall Out Boy beau looked to be having a marvelous time with their 11-month-old as they rode the Dumbo Flying Elephants.
And the happy family image is a welcome one, especially considering the reports that Ashlee has been upset as of late over her “Melrose Place” departure.
An insider revealed, “Ashlee didn’t see it coming, and now she’s crushed. She invested her heart and soul into the job. She feels like the rug has been pulled out from under her. She is struggling to hold her marriage together, dealing with motherhood and practically starving herself to look good. Ashlee’s friends are concerned that she’s headed for an emotional meltdown. She was desperate to establish herself as a serious actress, but now she’s worried that she’s failing.”

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz: House for Sale
Ready for a change, Ashlee Simpson and Fall Out Boy husband Pete Wentz are putting their Beverly Hills luxury mansion up for sale.
The couple’s marriage, which has been rumored to be shaky and on the verge of divorce, are claiming they are making the move for baby Bronx.
The house simply is not baby-safe! “The house is built into the side of a giant hill and it doesn’t really have any yard. Now that Bronx is getting older they realized that really isn’t a child-friendly house. They are going to sell this house and look for something that will be better suited to young children.”
Ashlee bought the mansion, at 5,896 square feet, in January of 2007 for $4.5 million. It has four floors, four bedrooms, four baths, and a master bedroom with his-and-her baths.
It, of course, has all things needed such as a television and game room, gym, a huge kitchen, swimming pool, and a two-story guesthouse.

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz: Hangin’ with Bronx
Fitting in a little quality family time, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz ventured out with Bronx Mowgli in Hollywood on Saturday (October 17).
The loving family were all smiles as they enjoyed the relaxing weekend outing, with Miss Simpson toting her adorable baby boy in her arms as paparazzi snapped up shots.
As for fatherhood, Pete recently told People magazine: “Everything is awesome about being a dad. Eventually we want to be able to have a soccer team.”
But the family expansion is currently on hold, as the Fall Out Boy rocker says that he and Ashlee need to “schedule and time things right … Ashlee is really focused on Melrose Place right now and I’m figuring what I’m doing next year.”
Continuing on about his daddy duties, Wentz tells, “The best part for me now is that I think for the first 9 months mom is so essential. When they start hanging out with dad more you’re like, ‘Wow I feel like a dad.’ You go to music class and do fun stuff together, it’s cool.”

Ashlee Simpson and Bronx: Beverly Hills Buds
Spending her downtime doting on her young son, Ashlee Simpson was spotted making her rounds with Bronx in Beverly Hills on Sunday (September 27).
Offering up a big smile, the “Melrose Place” cutie helped her 10-month-old stopped for an iced coffee before continuing about with the day’s agenda.
Meanwhile, Miss Simpson recently voiced her pleasure in getting the chance to work with Heather Locklear, who just signed on to appear on “Melrose Place”.
“We’re all really thrilled that Heather is coming back!” Simpson told People magazine. “Of course we are — she was kind of the heart of the show. It’s been great to have a lot of the original cast, and to have Heather join is really incredible. I’m excited!”
While Locklear’s episode doesn’t air until November 17th, you can catch Ashlee and the gang in an all-new episode titled “Vine” – which airs on Tuesday (September 29) at 9/8C on the CW.

She has 10 months of mommy experience under her belt, and now Ashlee Simpson says she’s thinking about expanding her family even more.
The “Melrose Place” hottie told press that she and husband Pete Wentz are just getting started on their brood, and she’s hoping to have another baby in the not-too-distant future.
She explained, “Oh gosh-we definitely want a big family. We’re young-we’ll see. I would love to have a big family and I know Pete would, too.”
And it sounds like she’s very happy with Wentz as a husband, as well as a father. “He’s amazing – he’s my best friend and my husband.”
As for any future albums, Ashlee said, “Right now I’ve got my hands full with Bronx and the show, so nothing at the moment. Whenever I get inspired by it and I’m ready to write again I will, but right now, I’m good.”
